Technical Features

The YDQ-20kVA/100kV gas-insulated test transformer is primarily designed for power-frequency withstand voltage testing, partial discharge testing, and high-voltage research and education regarding power equipment and insulation materials. It is mainly used to conduct high-voltage tests on various power equipment rated at 110kV and below. It is widely applied in insulation performance testing for the following equipment:

① Switchgear: Such as high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors, and Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS).

② Transformers: Windings and insulation systems of distribution and power transformers.

③ Instrument Transformers: Current transformers and voltage transformers.

④ Other High-Voltage Components: Power cables, insulators, lightning arresters, bushings, and other insulation materials.

The equipment is primarily used to verify the insulation strength of the aforementioned devices, specifically through:

① Power-Frequency Withstand Voltage Test: Evaluating the insulation's ability to withstand operating or over-voltages.

② Partial Discharge Test: Assessing insulation system aging and manufacturing quality by detecting minute internal discharges (requires a partial discharge detector).

③ High-Voltage Research: Serving as a high-voltage power source for scientific research and educational demonstrations regarding power system insulation characteristics.
