MS-GTU-PD808 GIS Partial Discharge Simulation System
I. Overview
The MS-GTU-PD808 Partial Discharge Simulation Device is a specialized scientific research instrument designed to simulate the partial discharge phenomena that occur during the operation of 35–220 kV Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS) equipment. It serves as a test platform for various diagnostic techniques, including pulse current, Ultra-High Frequency (UHF), ultrasonic, high-frequency, and SF6 gas analysis methods. The device fully complies with the requirements of relevant industry standards, including *DL/T 417-2019 Guidelines for On-site Measurement of Partial Discharge in Power Equipment*, *GB/T 7354-2018 High-Voltage Test Techniques—Partial Discharge Measurements*, and *DL/T 1694.1—2017 UHF Partial Discharge Online Monitoring Devices*.

The MS-GTU-PD808 Partial Discharge Simulation Device boasts several key advantages: extremely low inherent partial discharge levels, compact dimensions, light weight, immunity to climatic variations, and exceptional ease of use. Consequently, it is an indispensable piece of equipment for power grid partial discharge testing, scientific research and educational institutions, GIS manufacturers, and manufacturers of partial discharge detection instruments.
II. Structure:
The product features a completely novel design concept, material selection, and manufacturing process. As a result, it not only offers a compact size, light weight, and aesthetic appearance but also ensures that all technical specifications meet the requirements of the *JB3570-98* standard. Manufactured using a brand-new fabrication technique, the device utilizes dielectric insulation materials that are fundamentally distinct from those found in conventional products; this innovative approach enables the device to achieve an ultra-low partial discharge level of ≤ 3 pC.
III. Working Principle:
The device features an integrated, partial-discharge-free high-voltage source, ensuring a partial discharge level of ≤3 pC at the rated voltage. In "live-operation" mode, the user can freely select specific discharge types and precisely control the inception voltage, extinction voltage, and discharge intensity for each discharge signal. Utilizing both traditional partial discharge test equipment and wireless sensing technologies, the system facilitates the detection of various discharge types within GIS—including tip, floating, void (gas gap), particle, and surface discharges. It supports the simultaneous generation of multiple composite discharge types, thereby providing a comprehensive test platform for detection technologies such as pulse current, UHF, ultrasonic, HF, and SF6 gas analysis.
IV. Operating Environment:
1. Ambient Temperature: -10°C to +50°C; suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, capable of continuous long-term outdoor operation.
2. Protection: Equipped with an outdoor rain cover; features dust-proof and rain-proof capabilities.
3. Relative Humidity: ≤90% RH.
4. Altitude: ≤5500 meters.
V. Product Advantages:
① Compact size, allowing for operation in confined spaces.
② Lightweight components, facilitating easy transportation.
③ Robust and durable structural design, capable of withstanding long-distance transport.
④ Capable of conducting various tests in an unshielded (unscreened) test environment.
⑤ All high-voltage components are fully encapsulated within a sealed enclosure, ensuring a high level of safety for test personnel.
⑥ Wide range of applications; by adding a bushing, the device can be utilized to perform withstand voltage tests on conventional electrical equipment.
