The insulating oil dielectric strength tester (BDV tester) is a specialized device used to measure the breakdown voltage of liquid insulating media such as transformer oil.
Its core function is to directly and quickly assess the electrical insulation strength of insulating oil and determine whether its insulation performance has deteriorated due to high water content, excessive impurities, or aging.
