YDQ 30kVA-250kV Gas-Insulated Test Transformer
The YDQ 30kVA/250kV gas-insulated test transformer is utilized for power-frequency withstand voltage testing of 110kV voltage detectors, operating rods (hot sticks), and insulating rods. It serves as a high-voltage power source, creating an industry-standard testing environment for these insulating safety tools.
The equipment is primarily used to verify the insulation reliability of safety tools under specific high-voltage electric fields, ensuring the safety of personnel operating on power systems rated at 110kV and above.
① Power-frequency withstand voltage test: Simulates a high-voltage environment by applying a standard-specified power-frequency high voltage to insulating rods, operating rods, and voltage detectors to check for dielectric breakdown, flashover, or overheating.
② Leakage current measurement: Monitors the current flowing through the insulating tool via an associated microammeter during the voltage-raising process to assess whether the insulating material has aged, absorbed moisture, or sustained internal structural damage.
③ Sectional withstand voltage assessment: For long 110kV operating rods or insulating rods, the device is used to conduct sectional voltage tests, ensuring uniform insulation performance across the entire rod and the absence of weak points.
Product Advantages:
① Ultra-lightweight design, purpose-built for field operations
Utilizing high-dielectric-strength SF6 gas, the unit’s volume and weight are merely 40%–60% of those of traditional oil-immersed transformers. It can be easily transported by a single person, significantly reducing the physical strain associated with field testing and high-altitude operations.
② Ultra-low partial discharge for high-precision testing
An optimized internal electric field structure combined with high-purity gas insulation ensures minimal self-generated partial discharge. During power-frequency withstand voltage tests, it effectively eliminates background noise interference, enabling the precise detection of subtle insulation defects in the test object.
③ Eco-friendly, oil-free structure; safe, explosion-proof, and environmentally conscious
The fully sealed, oil-free design completely eliminates safety hazards such as oil leaks, fires, and explosions associated with traditional equipment. It is ideal for operating environments with stringent fire safety and environmental requirements, such as underground substations and busy urban areas.
④ Fully sealed and maintenance-free with superior environmental adaptability
The unit features a high-strength sealing design that protects the internal medium from external moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations. It delivers consistently stable performance without the need for periodic oil filtration or maintenance, ensuring reliability even in harsh outdoor weather conditions.
