YDQ-20kVA/100kV Gas-Insulated Test Transformer
Technical Features
The YDQ-20kVA/100kV gas-insulated test transformer is primarily designed for power-frequency withstand voltage testing, partial discharge testing, and high-voltage research and education regarding power equipment and insulation materials. It is mainly used to conduct high-voltage tests on various power equipment rated at 110kV and below. It is widely applied in insulation performance testing for the following equipment:
① Switchgear: Such as high-voltage circuit breakers, disconnectors, and Gas-Insulated Switchgear (GIS).
② Transformers: Windings and insulation systems of distribution and power transformers.
③ Instrument Transformers: Current transformers and voltage transformers.
④ Other High-Voltage Components: Power cables, insulators, lightning arresters, bushings, and other insulation materials.
The equipment is primarily used to verify the insulation strength of the aforementioned devices, specifically through:
① Power-Frequency Withstand Voltage Test: Evaluating the insulation's ability to withstand operating or over-voltages.
② Partial Discharge Test: Assessing insulation system aging and manufacturing quality by detecting minute internal discharges (requires a partial discharge detector).
③ High-Voltage Research: Serving as a high-voltage power source for scientific research and educational demonstrations regarding power system insulation characteristics.
By utilizing SF6 gas as the insulating medium, this product series offers advantages such as compact size, light weight, and immunity to environmental and climatic conditions, making it particularly suitable for field operations and routine maintenance at substations. Technical Specifications
Product Advantages:
① Ultra-lightweight design, purpose-built for field operations
Utilizing high-dielectric-strength SF6 gas, the unit’s volume and weight are merely 40%–60% of those of traditional oil-immersed transformers. It can be easily transported by a single person, significantly reducing the physical strain associated with field testing and high-altitude operations.
② Ultra-low partial discharge for high-precision testing
An optimized internal electric field structure combined with high-purity gas insulation ensures minimal self-generated partial discharge. During power-frequency withstand voltage tests, it effectively eliminates background noise interference, enabling the precise detection of subtle insulation defects in the test object.
③ Eco-friendly, oil-free structure; safe, explosion-proof, and environmentally conscious
The fully sealed, oil-free design completely eliminates safety hazards such as oil leaks, fires, and explosions associated with traditional equipment. It is ideal for operating environments with stringent fire safety and environmental requirements, such as underground substations and busy urban areas.
④ Fully sealed and maintenance-free with superior environmental adaptability
The unit features a high-strength sealing design that protects the internal medium from external moisture, dust, and temperature fluctuations. It delivers consistently stable performance without the need for periodic oil filtration or maintenance, ensuring reliability even in harsh outdoor weather conditions.
