MS-101Y Oil Dielectric Loss and Resistivity Tester

The Insulating Oil Dielectric Loss and Resistivity Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the national standard GB/T 5654-2007, "Liquid insulating materials—Measurement of relative permittivity, dielectric dissipation factor and d.c. resistivity." It is used to measure the dielectric dissipation factor and DC resistivity of liquid insulating media, such as insulating oil. Featuring an integrated structure, the instrument incorporates key components such as a dielectric loss oil cup, temperature controller, temperature sensor, dielectric loss test bridge, AC test power supply, standard capacitor, high-resistance meter, and DC high-voltage source. It utilizes fully digital technology for intelligent, automated measurement and is equipped with a large 5.7-inch TFT full-color LCD touchscreen and a Chinese-language menu system. Test results can be automatically stored and printed, allowing operators to use the device proficiently without specialized training.

Main Functions and Features

(1) The oil cup employs a three-electrode structure compliant with GB/T 5654-2007, with a 2mm electrode gap, effectively eliminating the influence of stray capacitance and leakage currents on dielectric loss test results.

(2) The instrument utilizes medium-frequency induction heating and a PID temperature control algorithm. This heating method offers advantages such as non-contact heating between the oil cup and the heating element, uniform and rapid heating, and convenient control, ensuring the temperature remains strictly within the preset error range.

(3) High-precision Σ-Δ ADCs (Analog-to-Digital Converters), well-shielded test cables and oil cups, and advanced digital signal processing technology are employed to ensure high accuracy and strong anti-interference capability, even when measuring extremely low dielectric loss currents.

(4) The internal standard capacitor is an SF6-gas-filled, three-electrode type; its dielectric loss and capacitance remain unaffected by ambient temperature or humidity, ensuring the instrument maintains high precision over long-term use.

(5) Comprehensive protection functions: The instrument can rapidly cut off high voltage and issue a warning in the event of overvoltage, overcurrent, or high-voltage short circuits. Warnings are also issued if the temperature sensor fails or is disconnected.

A temperature-limiting relay is installed within the medium-frequency induction heating furnace; if the temperature exceeds 120°C, the relay trips and heating stops. (6) Convenient test parameter settings. Temperature setting range: 40–120°C; AC voltage setting range: 200–2200V; DC voltage setting range: 200–500V.

(7) Features a large-screen TFT full-color LCD touchscreen for clear display. Simple setup allows the instrument to perform tests automatically, as well as automatically store and print test results.

(8) Built-in real-time clock; test dates and times are saved, displayed, and printed alongside test results.

(9) Empty electrode cup calibration function. Measures the capacitance and dielectric dissipation factor of the empty electrode cup to assess its cleanliness and assembly status. Calibration data is automatically saved to facilitate accurate calculation of relative permittivity and DC resistivity.

(10) Built on an ARM9 platform, ensuring high measurement accuracy and speed.
