Anti-interference dielectric loss tester
Anti-interference dielectric loss tester | Detailed introduction of technical principles
The core testing principle of a dielectric analyzer is to apply a frequency-adjustable alternating electric field to the insulating material and characterize its intrinsic properties, such as dielectric constant and dielectric loss, by precisely measuring its dielectric response.
Under the influence of the alternating electric field, the dipoles inside the dielectric will undergo reorientation polarization. The instrument applies sinusoidal voltages of different frequencies (from extremely low to high frequencies) to the sample through electrodes and simultaneously measures the current signal flowing through the sample. By performing vector analysis on the amplitude and phase relationship of voltage and current signals, the complex dielectric constant (real part ε' reflects energy storage capacity, imaginary part ε" reflects loss capacity) and loss factor tanδ can be accurately calculated.
By plotting the spectral curves of these parameters as a function of frequency, temperature, or time, various microscopic information such as polarization mechanisms, molecular motion, phase transitions, and impurity ion migration in materials can be analyzed in depth. This is a non-destructive precision analysis technique widely used in materials science, electronic component R&D, and other fields.
